Last year, residents of Lodi, California noticed a tiny Cessna 182 moving in slow circles over their small town, just circling and circling for a least month.

The Lodi News-Sentinel got a hold of a picture of the mystery plane, checked its tail number with the FAA and traced it to the Northwest Aircraft Leasing Corp. in Newark, Delaware. The listed address, reporters found, was a mail drop

Teacher-proof ringtone hits the US | The Register

A test in the Register Towers confirmed this - only our youngest cub reporter could hear anything at all. Listen to the sound here.

British kids were quick to sample the sound and turn it into a ringtone to be used in class - they can hear it, but teachers can't.

Nazi Memorial to open..

Ted Junker of Millard, WI believes: "Hitler did nothing.

"When the war happened, he tried everything diplomatic--everything.

"The soldiers of the Third Reich never stole anything. I fought next to them. They were good men. Never times were they bad.

"Not one person was gassed to death in the Third Reich."

Junker says he was born in 1919 in Germany and fought as a German Waffen-Schutzstaffel (SS) officer during World War II.

For 60 years he has mulled over what he remembers happening during those years. And in the years since he has come to see those events as totally opposite from how they are commonly told.

"When I was laying in bed at night, I would ask, 'How is it possible that people get so misinformed?'" he says through a strong German accent.

So Junker figured he'd do something big to tell his side of the story.

He built a large hall and monument honoring the legacy of Adolf Hitler and the German Allied forces.

Junker will hold a grand opening Saturday, June 25 beginning at 11 a.m.

Eleanor (Ellie) Merrill, a native of Scranton, Pa., is a trustee of her alma mater, Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. She was a Congressional Liaison Officer for Latin America at the U.S. Department of State, and served as press secretary to U.S. Sen. Kenneth B. Keating (R-New York). She is a trustee of Ford's Theater and the Shakespeare Theater and serves on the community boards of the Kennedy Center and the National Aquarium. She has been a member of the University of Maryland College of Journalism Board of Visitors since its founding in 1983, and was named Board chairman in 1995.

The Merrills have three children -- Douglas, Cathy and Nancy -- and live on the Severn River near Annapolis. They also maintain residences in Washington, D.C., and Aspen, Colo.

I'm sure there is an interesting story here. Time to call Vince Flynn.
